Description, stats, concerns and expectations: 
Beginning my first cycle, 12 weeks, using only Test Cypionate at 500mg per week. Using Aromasin as needed as an AI to combat estrogen levels rising. Using a combo of Clomiphene and Nolvadex beginning 2 weeks after last pin as PCT for 4 weeks. I'm 5'8'', 195lbs, at 19% bf which is way too doughy for me. Concerns; 1) Developing Gyno 2) Mucking up injections 3) Small gains. Expectations; 1) Build a solid foundation for future cycles. 2) Develop a harder leaner physic. 3) Noticeable gains mainly in strength and some size. I've been lifting since I was 17 and have always been in good physical shape and able to rely on strength and physicality to get me through what I needed to. I work in a profession where physical fitness is very important. Due to my schedule, kids in sports, and just getting older (32) my strength and shape have taken a hit, a hard one. It's time to not only revisit my glory years but to surpass my former self and take it to the next level.

Hey guys, Been away for a while but now I'm back. My review for this cycle is as follows: The product worked well. Test C at 500 mg/wk was a very good beginners cycle for me because 1) easy on my body 2) easy dosage at 250mg twice a week 3) was able to clearly see the effects of test , the good being increased size and strength, the bad being acne and some other side effects I'm guessing due to high estro. I started at 200 lbs at 19% BF and ended at 205 18% BF. I should have had lower Bf but I dropped the ball during the final few weeks of my cycle. I will explain without trying to sound like I'm making excuses. I had to travel due to work and the gym I had available on my trip was less than accommodating. Also on my trip I could not maintain my diet because I was on the road quite a bit and did very little cooking or meal prep. Got back from my trip just in time for the holidays and again travelled with the family. Diet was crushed and gym time took another big hit. I was making solid gains and I feel like I shit them away in the last 3 - 4 weeks. Don't get me wrong I still came out looking and lifting better then I went in but I have no illusions that I could have done much better. My suggestions, my endstate: Test Cypionate at 500 mg/wk, using Aromasin as an AI, and PCT of Clom and Nolvadex two weeks after my last pin was a great beginners cycle and I would definitely recommend it to first timers like myself. Watch closely for signs of high estrogen and when you notice the first hints begin your AI at a low dose and monitor your body closely. If you are prone to acne like I apparently am use some sort of acne body wash before you even begin and throughout the duration of the cycle because your skin will get very oily. All that said, this first cycle was a great experience and the mental high I was on was only matched by the pump I got in the gym. I'm re-focused and ready for my next cycle which will begin in a few weeks.

Week 1: Nothing significant to say. Nervous as hell about drawing and pinning not because of the pinch but for fear of mucking it up and wasting product. Followed advice from stickies found on this page as well as a site recommended from here and had no issues. Using a 23 gauge to draw which takes a while and a fresh 1 1/2" 23 gauge to pin in glutes which is money. Week 2: Going along. Diet is on point, training is on point. Feels good knowing that I'm my body is changing. Not much on the outside yet but it's coming. Week 3: Two weeks to the day of my first pin and I've seen my first signs of high estrogen. Puffy nipple, fatigue, slight ED. Took 12.5 mg of Aromasin that night and was back to normal on all accounts the next morning. Making slight gains in the gym but can be attributed to either muscle memory, the juice, or a combo. Muscles are feeling a bit harder and I'm hyped during my workouts and I don't take pre workout. Week 4: much the same as week 3. Pinning becoming easier (still a bitch to draw, will be ordering 20 gauge pins for the draw, thanks Dolf). Waited to take a second dose of AI until I was seeing effects again which was a bit of a mistake. Waited 7 days from first dose. Will be taking AI E3D / E4D depending and go from there. Also gaining some size but with that is coming some fat so I'll be changing up the diet plan. Cutting carbs in half and raising protein intake to 300g (again Dolf thank you). Will update diet plan tab when I iron it out.

Great update ozzy! You might be seeing some fat gain due to nutrient partitioning given your bf% is 19. Good idea to cut the carbs. Maybe increase cardiio by 5 minutes as well.

Yea brother, definitely going to increase the cardio a bit. Just bought a body fat tester. Going to give it whirl and see where I'm currently at. The 19% measurement was taken months ago so hopefully I'll be down a little bit. I have been back pretty religiously for about a month and a half after taking almost the entire summer off. We'll see.

Was eating 390 per day, at 5'8 195 lbs wasn't seeing any cut but definitely some size. I'm now eating between 130-150 per day like advised to by you all. I got my diet put together for me by a trainer through a contact and obviously that dude didn't really give me the best plan. Told him my two main priorities were to cut some BF while adding some strength. I thought the carb number he gave me of 400 per day sounded high but I gave it a shot. I won't say I added any fat but I certainly didn't lose any.

Yea brotha wsy too many carbs for cutting bf. You should see some fat loss at 130-150. Make sure to up your protein, and keep fats at a minimum.

It takes time for the body and all its systems to adjust to both new levels of muscle and decreased bf%. It's like a person who has spent an appreciable amount of time stock piling food, to change their behaviour due to a change in circumstances that don't require hording food. I think of depression era folks who still keep every scrap of this or that in preparation for lean times. The body is similar :)

Great analogy blast. I can tell you I have been on this diet now for about a month and I'm starting to see a little progress. My way of measuring up to this point is to stare at my love handles. If I'm seeing them shrink I'm happy. Ive got to use the body fat measurement tool so I can get a more accurate reading.

U can do it Ozzy, keep your diet tight, and training intense. That goal is well within reach. Make it a point to drink at least 1.5 gallons of water per day, and steadily increase cardio by 5minutes per session per week. This may not be possible, and its not for me either, but if you do fasted cardio in the morning for 20-30 minutes once or twice a week, that'll help things along. Also, you can reduce carbs on rest days. You got this brother! Who knows maybe 13 or 14% might even be within reach :)

Fasted cardio is my next course of action. I've done it quite often. I try to make my cardio sessions high intensity in short spurts. I've also adopted a crossfit type of cardio plan that I incorporate after I lift. Crossfit/ functional fitness is all the rage where I work. I've never really been into it but I have taken some of those types of exercises and implemented them into my daily routines. As for water, I need to drink more, I've definitely overlooked that.

Sorry, I am new to this and have yet to take my first cycle which is why I am interested in this one. You say that you will take Aromasin as needed .... I understand that taking the Test will raise your Estrogen levels, but how do we know when our Estrogen levels are raising too high? Are there clear signs??

Yes I have experienced some clear signs. One of my biggest concerns is high estrogen and the possibility of developing gyno so I've been paying very close attention to my body and changes. Two weeks to the day of my first pin I noticed my left nipple was larger than usual and puffy, I felt fatigued most of that day, and what really got my attention was when me and the wifey were getting busy I had a hell of a time keeping an erection. That night I popped 12.5mg of Aromasin before bed. When I woke up the puffiness was completely gone, I felt energized, and my junk was working fine. Now I've read into my AI and it is what is called a suicidal AI meaning basically it attaches to estrogen in the body and destroys it. This is great, however if you take too much you will drop your estrogen too low and that will lead to other problems. So I said to myself, "don't take another pill until you see side effects again". So I waited. Being a rookie I was looking for the same side effects as before not realizing that I was having other side effects and not I'd'ing them correctly. I was retaining water, my balls were pulled up real tight, and I had a few pimples on my back. Again it took getting down with the wifey to realize I had let my estrogen rise too high once again. This was a full week after my first dose of AI. Popped another 12.5 before bed and upon waking I could tell most of the water retention had disappeared and my little buddy was once again feeling much better and my balls were hanging free again. I'm on my fourth week now and will be taking my AI E3D or E4D, will let you know by tomorrow again depending on what my body is telling me. You just need to pay attention and let your body tell you what's up. If your feeling off and something may be different than what is normal for you, consider what it might be. And don't just look for one or two signs, everyone is affected differently and your effects will differ throughout your cycle. As long as you have a solid AI on hand and your picking up what your body is putting down you'll be ok.

I would use this cycle as a recomp. I'd set my goal to be 190 at 15% BF. If you're in a deficit of about 500 calories, have protein up to 300 grams a day minimum and time your carbs properly, you'll have no problem hitting that goal. What pinning frequency do you plan on doing? Looks like 2 injections a week at 1ml each. When I use Cypionate I do my injections Tuesday night and Saturday morning to evenly space them apart. (Every 84 hours.)

I listed it all out on the diet tab. Basically 244 g of protein, 390 g of carbs, 69 g fat, for a total of about 3100 calories. I eat this diet religiously 6 days out of the week. The only change is a cheat meal and some different types of food on Saturday. I'm in my 3rd week and have put on about 4 pounds and I'm feeling great. I am going to try to hit 205 lbs hard bodied at the end of this cycle.

My first week I pinned Mon and Thurs, im now pinning Sun and Wed because it's easier with work and all. I'm injecting 1ml per pin at 250mg each for a total of 500 mg per week. I'm using a 23 gauge pin to draw and a fresh 23 gauge 1 1/2" pin to inject. Drawing with that small of a pin is a bit of a pain in the ass. Injection site is bouncing between both left and right glute.

Nice! Looks like you may want to consider a cutting diet... Yep, I remember when I turned 30....sucked. Got fat! Anyhow, lets see about diet as this is of utmost importance. Do a little research, get a baseline, and get ur menu in order.

I'm eating about 3100 calories daily. 244g protein, almost 400g carbs, and about 75 g of fat. I'm eating clean vice a cheat meal every Saturday. What can I say, fat kids like cake. I'm in my third week of my cycle and have put on about 4 pounds. I'm thinking about upping my protein some, I would love to come out on the other side at a hard 205 lbs.

I'd up the protein, and cut the carbs at least in half. You could even drop the carbs down to 120g per day. 400g carbs ed is too much if you're trying to cut bf. Make sure you're doing a minimum of 30 to 40 minutes cardio daily.
