Description, stats, concerns and expectations:
Basic cut with Clen, T3 supplemented with Taurine, ALA, Omega 3 and CLA. My first experience with such supplements, so hoping to learn a bit about how I react to them. Trying to maintain weights (currently it's Rugby off-season, so hoping to cut some fat before June-ish before looking to put mass back on).

There's no need for the Clen taper, your body gets used to it right away, and the half life is 24-30 hours. You want to get your dose as high as you can tolerate side wise, stopping cold turkey will be fine. Take 50mg-75mg of benadryl before bed to help upregulate your receptors (keep your tolerance low, make it effective for longer) and to help you sleep. Continue benadryl during your time off. T3 should be tapered up and down very slowly to avoid rebound and thyroid shutdown, you may even want to consider running T4 afterward to kick start your thyroid, then taper off that. Definitely don't stop abruptly.

OK - awesome, thanks very much boldone! Never heard the benadryl thing before - I have Cetirizine Hydrochloride from the GP, so would that be substitute for Benadryl? And OK - currently on 120mcg Clen a day but sides aren't too bad so will try 160 for a bit - tapering T3 very slowly since its the first cycle and I'm just trying it out.

I mentioned Benadryl because of how cheap and convenient it is to find. Ketotifen would be a strong substitute for the Benadryl. I've never looked into Cetirizine Hydrochloride until just now. After a quick look, I don't feel it would have the same effects as the previous two. Cetirizine is a histamine(H1) receptor antagonist, and not a beta (B2). It also appears to offer no sedative sides like the others. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14680442

OK, sure - I'll grab some Benadryl next time at the shops. Many thanks for your help!
