Description, stats, concerns and expectations:
Now that my Rx TRT protocols are in place and I seem to have settled into a nice comfortable total and free Test numbers, I thought I would go into a mild cutting cycle. The overall goal is to drop down from my current BodPod tested BF of 16% to the 10% range. I won't go into huge amounts on marcos and such but the diet plan to be used will be based around carb cycling. Initially starting the first couple of weeks at a 2:1 (2 days of low card then a carb refeed day) then transitioning to a 3:1 diet pattern. I have carb cycled in the past with great success, and while I thought about trying keto for this cycle, I am still way too uneducated on the subject so I figure I'll stick to what I know. Basic low carb day macro profile will be 45P, 40F & 15C. High carb, refeed days will be 40C, 40P, 20F As for the gear, some will recognize where it came from and I've been siting on it while I have been working though my TRT adventure. TPP/NPP is a 167/100mg mix. Injections will be EoD, some weeks getting three injections, others getting four depending on the days an injection lands on. My big experiment in this cycle is the T-Bol and Provi use. I have never used the two together. I am a big fan of both and basically use either on-cycle as SHBG binders but I always wonder what would happen if I used both at the same time. That's all for now, I am short on time and will provide more details in the logs. .

Couple of light weeks and shoulder seems to be back to normal. Thank you NPP! BF% readings from yesterday came in at 11% after some hard HIIT and steady state sessions over two weeks. Everything is popping. I'm really happy with how my shoulders have popped with the BF loss and I feel like I haven't looked this good in years. Feeling great good. I don't want this cycle to end in a couple of weeks but we know it can't last forever.

Sorry about the slow update. Im trying to keep up on this log but I've been busy lately. Also, just came back from a 4 day trip to Biloxi and NOLA. Had a great time and even found time to train! Anyway. Yesterday BF% came in at just a .5% drop. As I've mentioned before, I am considering a 1/2% a statistical fluke unless it keep coming up, this kept coming up at -.5% again and again so I guess I have to take it. I would have liked a bigger drop but hey, I was on vacation! Training has had to be adjusted a bit. I tweaked my trick left shoulder doing DB presses so I am being a gentle with it. I've been in this game a long time so I know all kinds of ways to work around injury so give me about 10 days and I should be good. Outside of this, nothing really new to report. Oh! Almost forgot! I went to pin 100mg of TNE before legs today and my APL vial was crashed! I was surprised as fuck! It was fine a few weeks ago and today I could see crystals on the bottom. Soaked the bottle in hot water and it fixed the issue but I'm scratching my head as to the cause. It's not li ike it was cold but this isn't a newly opened bottle either. Could it be guac evaporating causing it to lose its solvency?

Quick update because I'm on my phone but another wisweek-ish down and feeling great. BF reading the other day was static at 13.5% when compared to the last reading. Adjust macros a bit, increased fat on both high and low carb days. Well g ku ve this is a week and see what happens. Weighed myself for the first time since starting and I'm down to 273#, this pretty much adds up in comparison to a 2.5%BF loss for someone my size. Strength is still ridiculous. All lifts are up, way up, although I had to cut my DL short yesterday doing back. The back pumps are starting to show and it was almost crippling. I'm thinking of adding in some HIIT cardio in, but not quite yet. I'm a big believer of making incremental changes when cutting so youcan see way what's working or not, so I'm going to ar what adjusting my macros a bit does first.

Quick response...;) Small adjustments have always proven to work best for me also. Keep up with the updates AC/DC... digging this cycle log.

Couple of weeks in and what can I say but "God Damn!" I have a feeling this is going to turn out to be one of the best, simple cycles I have ever run. BF% came in at -2.5% from initial baseline testing of 16% on 6/26. 13.5%BF and the abs are starting to really show. Funny how I forgot that I had abs... Strength is through the roof! Much more so then previous cycles using same or similar compounds and the only thing I can think of is the T-Bol/Provi combination. The Provi has to be picking up the SHBG work which is allowing the T-Bol to just act as a PED only. The strength increase reminds me of taking A-Bombs and I find myself in the gym talking myself down from going to crazy with the weight on main lifts. The last thing I need is an injury (I already have a tricky right shoulder) and would like to finish the cycle without hurting myself. It's so hard though when weights that used to be 5RM become a 8-9RM. Regardless, I am most definitely going to have to keep this log information handy for the next cycle. Training is consistent, but training has never been an issue for me. I am not the type to miss workouts. Ever. I'm not even getting fancy with the training on this cycle. Basic 5 day "Bro" split. In the past I've gotten fancy running push/pulls or four day splits going 3on-1off but for this I wanted to keep the volume up and conditioning high by being able to focus on a single muscle group and hitting it with higher volume. I will say I do split the week 2on-1off-3on-1off. I just can't do 5 days straight and keep my focus. It's totally a psychological thing too. When I try to do 5 days straight, by the time I hit day 4 all my focus is gone and my workouts suffer greatly. Just something I've learned over the years. The short ester Test/Nandrolone combination is doing wonders for recovery after couple of weeks. For example, I had a ridiculously brutal, high volume leg day on Tuesday that would have normally left me sore for 4-5 days but I was good and ready to go again in 48 hours. Still dealing with post-24 hour PIP on the APL mix (man I wish APL was up and running). As mentioned before, it isn't debilitating and I can definitely live with it, it's more of an adjustment more than anything. APL fit what would normally be in 1ML into 1/2ML and this is going to cause issues, This is the price I'm paying for the convenience of a premix. Sides have been pretty much non-existent so far unless you consider being a horny, Sea Dog a side effect. My wife doesn't so we're all good. Honestly, it's really too early to tell on the traditional sides. No bloating etc. and for me, acne never start to be come an issue until 5-6 weeks into a cycle regardless of whether short or long esters are used. Another plus is sides have always been historically less of an issue with short esters and shorter cycles. Aggression is up in the gym, but I feel the personality is fine. I tend to be pretty laid back and level headed to begin with so I don't turn into a mega-douche when on cycle. My wife would definitely check me up if I started acting too "Alpha Male". That's never happened I don't think it ever will. Diet has been pretty much on-point and exacting but I did have a little too many carbs yesterday (I was out with the wife and was left with very few choices for meals - it happens) Amazing thing about carb cycling is when that happens (or even sometimes after normal, planned, higher carb days) you look absolutely HUGE the next day. Everything just pops as your muscles fill back up with glycogen and fluids. I guess that the fun part of carb cycling, every day is different and you can see changes day to day in the mirror.

In my experience thus far, consistency with any training plan is more key than the plan. Bro split or whatever it is, if one is consistent results will be achieved. I’ve done the 5-6 days in a row thing, and definitely start feeling burnt out on day 5 after 4-5 weeks. It all has to do with work and daughter schedule. The summer is a little wonky with summer vacation (no school). Great update RE, nothing like a good fucking cycle log :)

Keep it up and thanks for the update. Following closely. Those high carb days will fill you up quick with glycogen and water. For every gram of carbs stored as glycogen our bodies retain 2-4g of water. Good benefit for strength and recovery.

This is an excellent cycle... Provi at 100mgs huh... I stick with 50mgs and GTG... I usually see 75mgs recommended as max dose... You must be warm and fuzzy all day : )

Ha! Let sayI'm ready to go whenever and wherever! As for the dosagei, I've seen everything from 50Ed to 150Ed. I've never noticed anything from it at less than 100mg/day personally. I will say I split the dosage 2x/day. To much at once seems to raise my BP.

Provi blows up my BP is just small doses. Nice you can run it semi-high without big issues. I am one of the lucky ones with a very low natural SHBG but I have always wanted to use provi for its other purposes.

You have to love the short esters! One week in and I started to feel it during this mornings workout. Nothing like the feeling of hitting, what used to be, peak intensity and failure during a set only to find you have more fuel in the tank to keep going. Love it! I am a little surprised by some post-24 hour PIP I've dealt with over the past week but it's not unbearable by any means. I'll chalk that up to higher concentration gear. Diet is so far on point. The low carb days suck, no other way to put it. High carb days feel like a cheat day but their not. Carbs are still clean (rice, sweet potato etc) but to go from 15% to 40% after three days of low levels for my daily intake makes a large sweet potato seem like a piece of chocolate cake! Body weight has been static which is kind of the goal with a recomp but I am trying not going to get too caught up with weight and rely on my Skupt after being able to calibrate it against BodPOd measurements. After one week my Skupt is telling me there is a 1%BF drop but to me that is too little to really measure and could just be a statistical fluke. When it gives me a reading of a 3-4%BF drop (which I should see over the course of the next 3-4 weeks), then I'll start to getting excited.

Looking forward to your updates and to hear about your experience. I like to monitor my progress and make adjustments as needed about every 14-21 days. Based on your macro break down I would be looking to adjust the fat % first if adjustment is needed. Good luck and godspeed.

Thanks and good to hear from you, SF! My experience with carb cycling has taught me to generally leave fats alone unless overall adjustments are needed. When modulating carb intake, something has to give and fats are it. This is why fat percentages adjust with carb percentages. I always reevaluate every two weeks. New measurements are taken nd lean mass is adjusted. This way I an at least adjust your overall caloric intake based on new figures. I really wanted to try keto, but as I mention in the cycle description I am still very new to keto and just starting to learn about it. Initially to me, keto seemed like carb cycling without the glycogen refeed days but I know keto is much more than that. Still trying to learn what I can so I ordered "The Ketogenic Bible". Maybe a masters BB show is in my future and keto will be the prep.
