I am not much help in this

I am not much help in this area because I have never been one to even get a simple pimple let alone a full blown acne breakout.

Have you ever tried tanning or red light therapy beds? Tea tree oil?

In might not be luck....

In might not be luck.... Portuguese people have superior genetics over the rest of the worlds population! ;)

DHT plays a key role in acne and in many cases is the sole culprit for adult acne outbreaks. So it might be that those who are susceptible have a high conversion to DHT or are sensitive to the androgen. It is definitely hormone imbalance related.

I don't get acne much, a few

I don't get acne much, a few zits here and there if my E2 is elevated. I have heard of people using tanning booths to dry the skin out. Might be a myth, not sure.

I get some and I think its from E2 being high and they seem slow to heal but sometime in the sunshine certainly helps them heal.   Getting some Vitamin D too

On longer cycles (10 weeks+),

On longer cycles (10 weeks+), I can get some serious acne. I've found it to be dose and duration dependant. Most OTC methods don't help because AAS's tend to cause cystic acne which really can only be treated with antibiotics, retin-a or isotretitoin (Accutane).  Cystic acne can also be uncomfortable, if not painful in some areas. Sun exposure and tanning may help but will not eliminste it, more like keep it from getting worse.

Try to be gental on your skin. No hard scubbing. This will help keep inflammation down. Tea tree soaps help me. It acts like a topical antibiotic.

In general, I find it takes almost as long as I am on cycle for it to heal. For example, if I am on cycle for 16 weeks and the acne is really bad, it will take about 4 months for it to subside.

Are you currently using any C17 orals? If not, start on Accutane at 40-ish mg ed and see how that goes for a few weeks. Note that with Accutane, acne will breifly get worse before it starts to get better. If you are currently using orals, wait until you're off them. Isotretitoin is hard on the liver by itself.

In the future, use a low dose of 20-25mg ed at the start of your cycle. This will help to prevent this side in the first place. This protocol has helped me greatly.

Thanks man, I wanted to try

Thanks man, I wanted to try not to use accutane, i have a bunch on hand (since im a source) Accutane makes me very violent.. Worse than Tren! And my wife wont let me take it. She will shoot my ass with test all day, but when it comes to Accutane she says that i am a fucking asshole  (her words) So I will try the Tea tree soap like Semp suggested as well! Thanks for taking the time to help Amigo!

I was acne prone as a

I was acne prone as a youngster and am acne prone while on aas no matter how well I keep my e2 in check. It sucks. I wash 2 to 3 times per day if possible. Also tanning, swimming in a chlorinated pool, and swimming in salt water help. I've never wanted to use Accutane, but have really been considering it as of late.

It's all about test to E2

It's all about test to E2 ratio IMO. I find that at the beginning and at the end if cycles acne tends to get worse. As your hormone levels ratchet up and down the ratio between the two tends to get out of wack. Keeping a tight ratio, or balanced as if one was not on a cycle, is the key for me to keeping acne in check.

X2.. I just finished a cycle

X2.. I just finished a cycle of Test e/Deca. I stopped the deca a few weeks ago and backed off the Test a week later. My E2 Recently has crashed. I find it harder to come off of long ester cycles over shorts. I've experienced this before. Sluggish, painful joints and muscle fatigue.

So what would be the best way

So what would be the best way to track that level of E2 shift?

Is blood work every 6-8 weeks adequate?

Or should someone have 'markers' that they use to note E2 is elevating and increase AI dosage accordingly? Is that even possible?

If you are a person who is

If you are a person who is not prone to acne when off cycle then excessive acne is a good sign your e2 is getting or is out of range. I am a person who is very prone to acne. Had it pretty bad as a teen, and into my 20's and 30's just not as bad as when I was a teen. Since I've started running cycles I get acne, but it seems worse when I run 19nors. Not too sure why though.

Honestly... It a trial and

Honestly... It a trial and error thing unfortunately because let's face it bloods every few weeks is not practical.

Some learn to recognize signs of E2 unbalances with indicators such as water retention, mood swings, or fatigue. Hey we all know our test levels are through the roof on cycles but keeping the E2 balanced is the task at hand.

Personally I know when mine is too high based on not only increased acne, but also by the size if my wrist. As silly as I may sound I can measure my wrist and tell if my E2 is high based on water retention. Too low and I am dragging ass.  Call it silly but it definitely works for me, hey everyone had their own little method of keeping that ole' E2 in check.

If it is silly then color me with silly putty. The first signs of E2 elevation for me is also seen in the wrists, then the hands and eventually the face & neck. If I have swollen hands then I know for sure I let things get a bit out of hand.... no pun intended. ;)

Hey Milk, i was just going over this old post and I saw that you use your wrist to help determine if E2 is in check and realized i could Probably use that method as well! AWESOME IDEA! MY wrists really seem to fluctuate... i thought it was arthritis!

Bobby - I always have e2 run

Bobby - I always have e2 run in as part of my pre cycle blood work. Just like endogenous testosterone, this will give you your baseline numbers so you know what is "normal" for you. Then, depending on the cycle, have the same serum test/e2 bloodwork run anywhere from 2-6 weeks into your cycle.  2-3 weeks for short ester cycles and 4-6 weeks for longer esters and compare these results to your baseline. If your e2 is signifcantly different then your baseline, adjust your AI accordingly.

X2...anything over 50 you

X2...anything over 50 you definitely need to adjust your ai and get it below 50. Also make note of your symptoms of elevated and or crashed e2 so you can always detect them, and adjust your ai as needed.

Your experience was pretty

Your experience was pretty similar to puberty. Your body reacted with hard acne side effects to the hormone shifts.

If you can ever figure out how to control that reaction you will be the worlds most popular person to 15yr olds all over the earth :-)

Only real solution is acutane like you took. Glad it helped,  keep an eye on your shifting E2 in the future as you go on and off cycle.

Do you mind if I ask what you used for PCT ?  That may help you understand how to avoid any recurance

And glad to see you weighing in on threads!

Dawn soap, windex or hydrogen

Dawn soap, windex or hydrogen peroxide. Armidex..

Pick which every works for you..

Also you can make your own windex.. 2 Cape fulls to 1 cup spray on your body/aka was face with it wait 5min than take your shower but dont was your face just wake it off with water.. for your back get a brush spray scrup.

For dawn soap 1 tablespoon with 1 cups make your own wash face, for your back put it on a brush.

For hydrogen peroxide just get the one already mixed I  water :)

Add Armidex to your cycle if your not taking an AI and if your are switch. Armidex will dry you out.

Just my 2 cents enjoy :)
