dbol at 50

hey guys..

iv done 3 cycles so far...

2 test only and a 3rd with Var..

thinking of a bulking cycle but at 52 I wanted some advise on dbol..

I have read plenty on it but at my age im a bit preoccupied on the liver toxidation. I read lots of water and mike thisle help but I cant find much on how it effects a man of my age.

im healthy in every was except colestrol is a bit high as im sure most of us are..

any advise would help..

Others will know more. I have not used dbol BUT I know a number of men who blame it for cancer not to mention potential liver damage. 

I would advise against. BUT there are other solid options.  Can I ask a few questions:

What level of test do you take on cycle?

How much VAR?

what are your goals … size, lasting gains? short term gains? competition?  This will help a lot in advice. 

Also if you don't mind, how is your diet? Body Fat % etc?          Answer only what you like but the more personal info you can provide the better help we can provide to you.

Test E 250 mg 2x per week.. var was 60 per day last 6 weeks ...

Good size. And it won't be too hard to lose that last 15lbs and get below 10%!

500mg Test E was a good start. Consider going to at least 600mg+ for next cycle. Now, what do you want to use for bulk?  

My next cycle is going to be 600mg Sustenon, 100 VAR per day and 150mg  NPP...I am 53  and prefer to make gains that I am more likely to keep. 

We (you and I) don't compete so those BIG gains that fade away off cycle are not really our goal. 

Some other guys will weigh in with other ideas but I would consider something similar to my next cycle or maybe EQ or even Mast or Deca for size. 

PS: How is your blood work? That will/should impact your decisions as well.

every cycle that I have done bloods have always been good.. high elevations of red count due to the Test but once I go off im right back to normal..

GREAT.  Read the older threads on 'cycles' on the web page and play with some ideas but knowing you have good blood work I bet some of the more experience guys will weigh in with some other ideas for your cycle.

Just make the base element Testosterone and keep any orals to a one month set of your cycle and you will be fine!!!  have fun moonie and good luck and if you think to let me know how it went in a few months when it's all over!

I agree with Bobby on some of

I agree with Bobby on some of the advice given. At our age, loyal gains is the name of the game while not causing any unnecessary damage to our organs. 

A wonderful lean mass cycle could be test prop, npp, and mast p. Run it for 12 weeks. I'm suggesting short ester compounds as dbol is often used as a kick start. With test prop, there is no need for a kick start. Npp is a short ester version of deca. Mast will help control shbg, and add vascularity and hardness. Diet will be the primary determining factor in the gains department. 

Further, I would suggest getting your bf% down to 12 or less before starting. Drink 1.5 to 2 Gallons of water per day. Cut out processed foods and table sugar. Eat clean. Train for hypertrophy which is pretty much a high volume approach.

Thanks fellas.  My only concern is the right source for the Sus. I read it’s on of the most test combos that are faked.  Can someone go to a private message n I’ll let you know who I been using. Your opinion would help.

IMO change nothing run them

IMO change nothing run them same cycle.. my guess is your diet needs to change. You don't need dbol, deca or anything. Check your diet. What's in your diet that shouldn't be? When are you eating? How much protein? When do you stop eating carbs for the day?

Also what's your workout routine, are you changing it? Or just doing the something example: chest, back, trys, are you switching the rotation so your muscles don't get used to it? How many heavy days you doing a month? Are you starting haeavy and working backwsrds?

I think you don't need too change your cycle I say let's change diet and workout routine.. just my 2 cents..
