If you are human and don't have an issue with abuse you bet you are! If you are a grown man and had a pair of balls you wouldn't be asking our opinion. ;) Live your life StsrBuck. Just make sure your goals are in balance with your lifestyle. This game is about gaining something good not giving up things that you truly enjoy.

When our lifestyle doesn't fit our goals that's when we have to either adjust our lifestyle or our goals.

Some members are way more serious about this than others. In time you will find your place and it will even change as you progress.... Just like life.

Anyone dieting so hard that they can’t enjoy being alive and have a beer or take a piece of ass out for dinner and dessert(sex) needs to take a look at why they’re doing what they’re doing. Totally not bitching at you, my point is that an extra 200 cals per week isn’t going to hurt anything. ‘Merica

Yeah I don’t feel like you’re bitching at me in any way.  If anything, I struggle getting enough carbs and every day, so I’m not really worried about the calories. Someone just said that alcohol is not good when you’re on cycle.

Listen Punk (kinda funny)  Here's my advice on that... When saving money or dieting or any challenge you take on, Start out strong. Get on top of your quest first and let it know you own it and you're going to dictate what happens.. Get your metabolism flowing to the point that you sweat just after eating a meal.  Wait till you start hearing how good you look... Its so much better than a beer..

I'm going to go ahead and say I never just had 1 beer in any fuckin situation. i'd rather see you get to the point that everything else is on point and then in a couple weeks enjoy 2 or 3 beers a week. Just remember that when u drink it lowers your inhibitions. Then there's a meatball parm….  Just get rolling first...

2 weeks back during week 14 on my cycle I was miserable and emotionally fucked up over a few things. Mostly the discipline. I ate a bit more for 2 weeks and had quite a few vodkas and beer. My body didn't change for the negative. I then got back on intensity... we're all different but get on top of this cycle first and be perfect to show yourself you are strong...

U know JD, Every cycle, I

U know JD, Every cycle, I thought it was ok. Sure it was ok but I didn't have results like this go around.  Most of us are usually all or nothing... I have to be all in. This cycle turned my whole life around. I just want to hone in now on weak points and start growing... As far as I know beer doesn't help with those goals.. I would like to see it more looked at like this. Set a long term goal/cycle. Now, meet your short term goals every 2 weeks till you reach the ultimate goal.. If you must taste that beer than it better be a prize for meeting your short term goal and don't overdue it and then get right back at it the next day...

 Sorry guys… I should’ve been more clear in my original post. Somewhere I read that alcohol is not good well on cycle. It’s not about the calories, because it’s hard enough as it is for me to get up to my calorie goal every day. It’s not about the carbs either… My macros are on point, and can stay that way if I drink a beer. I was just wondering about the alcohol aspect.

Just like everything else for

Just like everything else for the negative things you read about it I can show you what has been written about the positives of moderate alcohol consumption ON cycle. That being said... I abstain from alcohol consumption because it just does not fit my lifestyle. My goals and determination in achieving those goals does not have any room for it right now. Will I never have a drink again? Strong taught me something about making 'never' statements so I am not going there but I can say for now alcohol doesn't have a seat at my table.

Back History... I was a full blown binge drinker. I rarely drank but when I did I drank for one reason and that was to get whiskey bent and break stuff. My excuse was that I was PTSD because some military doc said I had to be after so many deployments. PTSD is real in SOME cases but for me that was a bullshit excuse. I wasn't PTSD. I simply wanted to do things my way and did not want to follow the conduct rules of society. I would hit the liquor store a 5pm for a fifth and be back at 5:45pm to get another. I can't even tell you the last time I had a drink but you know what... it don't matter. Am I against drinking? No, but I am against ME drinking. ;)

EDIT- StarBuck... just so you know because of our addictive histories.... Steroids are addicting as hell so be responsible and at all times consider the repercussions on your health. There will be a point in time that there will be a price to pay so plan to be able to make that payment when the time comes. The benefits are unprecedented if we remain responsible.

If you're eating on point and training is on point and you have a couple beers your body will not be sure how to process that beer.. I'd like to see your findings... Log it brother..

I am going to blast him right in the c0(& sucker with a sweeping right elbow and just pray I can run faster than him. Call me crazy... I would love to know if I could take his best punch. The way I read it from Griz a while back... He speaks his mind and I think he knows his shit.... He said to me that I should stop drinking on cycle. He said that im feeding my body perfectly and training hard and my body is thanking me and I go ahead and put something in there that it doesn't know how to process. My body says no, yours may say yes..

I don’t drink anymore. When I did, I did triple shots, or a pint glass was filled with well vodka. Whatever the intoxicant is, I don’t stop at 3-4, I go till it’s gone. I prefer having people comment on my physique more than waking up late in the day following a crazy ass night wondering what I’m going to have to apologize for, or wake up on the floor of nasty fat bitches apartment wondering what the fuck (that did happen and I quit drinking for a week or two because of that). So, I’m on the straight and narrow. Have to be, and have to be somewhat obsessed, because I know me and what happens otherwise. And it ain’t pretty. I love my straight and narrow somewhat boring lifestyle, boring from the outside perhaps, but not inside...

Can't drink something that messes with that.

WOW you guys just gave a lot

WOW you guys just gave a lot of personal background. What I wouldn't give for an hour just hearing your life stories. Fascinating!

My personal favorite is Semper Fi original. Life needs to have joy at the end. I always think of religion, yes there is some sacrifice but the joy rewarded is dramatically greater!  If your religion is sacrifice to be rewarded nothing but suffering for it's own value then yuck!  We do this for a reason and hopefully a darned good one. If there is no joy reassess.  That said I do agree with the general concensus, why are you doing this and I mean full cycle NOT TRT....then do you want to limit the results with any diet variation? Any alcohol on cycle much like a cookie or even a potato should have been planned in advance as part of that weeks diet plan.

That said WP my friend. You have a history of substance abuse I think you once told me/us. Maybe just maybe keep limited to one addictive substance at a time - I crossed a line here but what could be worse than to get clean and then develop a drinking problem.
