Hello everyone

Hello all I'm a 52 year young man getting back into lifting again. Iv been down about 3 years but haven't forgotten how to do things. I did supplement back in the  eighties but was young and stupid hell they didn't have all this technology back then so it was hard to research anything, but I've done more research in the past few months to make up for it. Right now I weight in at 270 lbs, most of the fat is in the mid section of course. When I stopped lifting I weight in at 250 lbs holding 24 inch guns now well I'm holding about 21 inch guns so my plan is to do the diet with cardio and try to get some weight off before I start trying to bulk up, I wouldnt mind trying cy3 to help, would like to see some kind of ripple in the mid section for once instead of mount bellymore, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I'm open for any advice. Thanks all.

welcome brotha

So my suggestion would be get your diet dialed in, get your training dialed in then this:

https://musclegurus.com/forum/anabolic-steroids/new-to-steroids-start-here/first-cycle-checklist-and-shopping-list

Honestly I would stay away from the clenbuterol. I know it looks promising with increasing your metabolism and talks about burning fat....but you also have to remember that it doesn't distinguish muscle from fat and burns everything. Therefore especially if your diet isn't in check your basically losing everything with the possibility of being catabolic and storing fat. So that's why I suggested the link above. Test will help keep you anabolic on your calorie deficiency while losing fat (if you watch your diet and train hard) and after a month you will feel like you are 30 again.

Also I agree with cs that more information will always help get you better suggestions.

Food for thought brotha :)

I am not a fan of clen but the statement is not necessarily true. Clen is a beta2-adrenergic agonist. Beta2's are anabolic by nature. Let me know if you would like me to post references or you can use google for your own research.

If you are maintaining a healthy calorie deficit diet with an appropriate amount of protein and control inflammation you will be able to limit the release of cortisol and you will not enter a catabolic state. You will then be preserving and/or building muscle and burning fat deposits.

You don't need steroids period to burn fat and preserve muscle. Steroids are NOT a diet tool and to recommend them to someone as such is completely irresponsible and possibly dangerous! Steroids are to assist in building muscle, strength, performance enhancement and therapeutic purposes.

Using steroids while having a high BF% is going to increase side effects and possibly place someone in an unhealthy situation. Estrogen conversion is unknown for most people but everyone knows an individual with a high BF% converts more test into estrogen than someone with a lower bf%.

The absolute best way to burn fat is to reduce and/or eliminate stress from your lifestyle. Stress releases cortisol and cortisol holds onto fat for dear life. That is why as we age we see an increase in BF%. Remember you cannot spot treat fat burning. Your belly and love handles will be the LAST to go.

If you have an unhealthy stressful lifestyle consider using an adrenal support supplement which will limit cortisol activation.

Thank you Semper

I thank you for the kind hearted correction on the clen. I was wrong in my advice on the clen as I am not a fan of it and therefore obviously have misunderstood it. And as such I should not have given advice on it but let others who are more experienced on clen do it. My apologies to both of you.

Now as far as my advice on his getting his diet on point and training locked down I still stand by those. As a matter of fact I think with getting those two thing lined up and some over the counter supplements that he could lose the mount bellymore and get himself into shape and to where he is capable of taking something as safely as possible if he chooses. In the end everyone makes their own choice on whether to use gear or not. And as always my first go to will always be test only. BUT only when someone has put in the time and effort and made that a possibility. I guess I should have clarified that fact more.

You are an OUTSTANDING member

You are an OUTSTANDING member T. My frustration is getting expressed more than maybe it should. It is NEVER personal and you have shown yourself to be helpful (amazingly so), respectful and kind.

And you should stand by the advice on diet and training because it is truth and speaking the truth is never wrong. +2

My apologies to you if my response appeared to be a personal attack.

I do appreciate the advice, I

I do appreciate the advice, I'm 5 11 I would guess my bf% to be around 22 to 24% I'm not overly big as in fat, I am wearing a size 42 to 44 pants if that helps any, now about 6 months ago I did take some supplements that did help with alot of weight loss, my diet at this time is consisting protien with little carbs, right now I work the second shift so it's hard as hell to get on a good routine of eating like I should, lifting won't be much of a problem because I can do that in the am before work. So Im trying to figure a good jump start to the weight loss, then start the bulking phase, I don't have much of a problem bulking up now that I no more about what I'm doing on that end, it's the fat loss, I know there ain't a magic pill for it, guess I'm inpatient iv always been that way, when I want something done I want it done now, thats the firefighter in me I suspect, that's the other problem with the eating habits lol as far as the stress part well that's a different tune, my personality plays a big role in that, I do try to not let things bother me, buttttttt that's pretty hard sometimes, now if they ever make a magic pill for that then please sign me up lol. So bottom line is I will sit down and figure out a good diet, increase the cardio and see were it takes me. Thanks fellows

It took a long time for you

It took you 3 years to get where you are today. Show the same patience and consistency in getting where you want to be as you did with putting on the excess weight and I guarantee you will be successful. ;)

Clen is not a magic bullet by any means and comes with some crazy sides. It robs the body of taurine and you will get major muscle cramps and spasms. I don't mean little ones either. I am talking eye watering pain. God forbid you ever get the jaw lock cramp or the single sided neck cramp. It certain doses and based on the individual you heart might race to an uncomfortable level. I am not sure the risk from just these two that I described are worth a little kick start to fat loss.

Some people have great success with Clen while others don't. I really think the disparity in results is based on how much effort the individuals put into other things versus relying on Clen to do it for them.

X2 and +2 SemperFI......

X2 and +2 SemperFI......

Take the idea of Clen use and blow it up.... In 2015 I was in an experiment phase of AAS use. I got real sick or reading shit and it not pertaining to me, so I did my own research.. Clen was the worst drug I put in my body. Waking up in the morning to give that morning stretch and cramping up in my Calf and neck at the same time.. The Jaw lock is NO joke. Once that happens you need to stay completely calm and breathe through that. That shit left me with Muscle spasms and knots all over my body. I was taking in a gallon + of water a day and supplementing with Taurine as well as many other supplements. Bottom line, Clen is a dangerous drug. I don't give a shit what New actor did it for weight loss.

Here are some side effects:

Tremors, cramping, increased heart rate and raises BP,  Palpatations in your heart... I mean that's enough for me right there... Its garbage and for that matter NO T3 either...

right now I work the second

right now I work the second shift so it's hard as hell to get on a good routine of eating like I should.  (JL4 statement)

I want to encourage you to drop those types of statements from your vocabulary. Its only hard if you say its hard.  Hard is: Having a child with cancer, Getting shot at or having you legs blown off by an ied while protecting your country. That's the hard stuff we regular people don't have to deal with..  I promise you this. Get a diet in order and adhere to it because it wont be hard over the next few years to hear how great you look time and time again from your friends. : )

Make it fun and your way of life and you will feel so fulfilled... Remember, Its you against you...
