Case in point, My upper outer Quad muscle is a little deformed and i need an exercise to fix it! its SO UGLY and it makes me look disgusting! Im not looking for compliments, I think the rest of my body is coming along ok but i have a long ass way to go compared to the ifbb pros at my gym. I keep looking and I can't seem to find a flaw you are all beauty in my book i read that you compete so I get you must be frustrated because your body is being judged but go to a crowded place and look around I bet you will smoke them all !!!!!!

Well, hmmm... had to get past everything else to actually see this deformity as you call it. Could it be the lighting? Maybe the way you're posing/flexing? Not sure. Could be that it has developed more than the adjacent muscles. I was reading the bodybuilding encyclopedia the other day by arnold, and he pointed out how lagging parts will make other parts appear bigger. If the entire thigh is not balanced then one part may stand out or looked deformed as you put it. That aside, my heart rate went up a notch viewing this pic :)

You're looking good, i dont see much deformities. If it isnt impacting your lifting routines or your form on leg days, dont pay any mind to it.

If she is looking to compete I guarantee the judges will see it. I just wish I had a solution for her. :(

I wish she'd come back and answer my question about possibly having an injury in her past that crushed muscle fibers. Car wreck, bicycle wreck as a kid, or possibly a sports injury like getting hit by a line drive hit in baseball or softball.

The best advice that I can offer... keep doing what you are doing and accept the results of your efforts. I wish I could provide a targeted fix but I have my own imperfections that I have to accept. ;) You look great and you will look even better in the future.

You look freaking fabulous! We are always hard on ourselves! We strive to achieve the best aesthetically pleasing physique on the stage. Dolf has given you the perfect link to learn to target and maximize quad development! It is normal to have a smaller body part on left or right..women especially notice this because of our innate desire to feel "attractive." I look at my short muscle bellies and think they look gross but i try to focus on the fact that i can not change THAT. Tell me what that area "feels" like. Does it feel hard, soft, or feel simply like an indention surrounded by hard or soft tissue? Regardless, Beaut you indeed are a beast!

Nothing beats a failure but a try, Beautie! Keep working on it, I'm sure it will become even more less noticeable, However, you will always know it is there. This past year has taught me to accept the things about my body that i cannot change and focus more on the areas i do have the power to improve on. Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Absolutely. :-)

First off you can't show off a pic where hard work, dedication, and discipline are so evident and not expect compliments! You look fantastic! +3 Now on to the question. I've recently started focusing on angles to target specific parts of my muscles. Feet together hack squats, narrow stance nuetral front squats, and knee and toe facing inward leg extensions will target the VL. Here's a link that will show you pics, and explain the movements. https://www.t-nation.com/training/bulk-up-cut-up-quads-and-tris

Thank you Dolf, I do work hard. But nothing seems to help this dent in my leg, its weird! I will try those pointers you gave me and see if it helps at all Fingers crossed. U'll try anything at this point. Ijust started noticing it once my quads started to "POP" "GROW" the bigger i get the more it shows darnit!

Have you ever been in a car wreck or any type of accident that could have injured you in that area. I have a friend who gotbinto an accident that injured his bicep. It crushed the muscle fibers, and now there's a dent in his bi that has never gone away.
